2. Product Info

Q: What's the difference between the Vanguard and Zenith series?
A: Vanguard rods are high-quality graphite, designed for reliable performance and affordability. Zenith rods use premium Japanese carbon fiber and include the Hydrocoat option for extra rust protection, higher durability, and top-tier sensitivity.

A: Check out our rod quiz or guide:
6' Vanguard: ideal for speckled trout, flounder, sheepshead
6'6" Vanguard: red drum, black drum, snook, Spanish mackerel

4. Care & Maintenance

Q: How do I maintain my rod?
A: Rinse your rod with fresh water after each use, especially after saltwater trips. Keep guides and grips clean and dry. Store your rod in a protective case when not in use.

Q: Are the rods waterproof or rust-resistant?
A: Zenith rods can be upgraded with our Hydrocoat option, which prevents rust on guides and keeps grips from getting slippery. All rods are designed to withstand inshore and light saltwater conditions.

6. Technical or Misc

Q: What's GuideFusion™?
A: GuideFusion™ is our proprietary guide bonding system. Unlike traditional thread wraps, it uses UV-curable, color-infused epoxy to create stronger, faster, and visually unique rod guides. It cures in about 2 minutes, letting us complete a full custom rod in under 15 minutes.

Q: Can I watch my rod being built?
A: Definitely! Join us at our live events like the First Friday Market in Beaufort, where you can watch your rod come together in real time using our UV curing process.
